Our walk with Jesus has been a journey of unwavering faith, steadfast obedience, and wholehearted commitment to His calling. Since the year 2000, Church of Glory has stood as a beacon of Christ's love, proclaiming the Gospel with passion and serving people with compassion. Founded on the unchanging truth of God's Word, our church is dedicated to making faithful disciples through sound biblical teaching, fervent prayer, heartfelt worship, and Christ-centered fellowship. We believe that true discipleship is demonstrated not only through learning God's Word but also by living it out through acts of love and service.

Founder : Mrs.Sheela MangalRaj

Our History

Our church was born from a God-given vision placed in the heart of our beloved founder, Mrs. Sheela Mangalraj. After settling in the village, she was moved with compassion for the people and answered God's call to share the Gospel with the community. What began as a humble village ministry has, by God's grace, grown into a vibrant church family dedicated to serving Him. This church of Glory also called as Patti amma Church.

With a heart full of love and sacrifice, Mrs. Sheela Mangalraj opened her home to children from the village. She cared for them, provided for their needs, taught them the Holy Scriptures, and introduced them to the saving love of Jesus Christ. Through her faithful discipleship, thirteen children were nurtured in the faith, and today they faithfully serve as leaders within the church. Their lives stand as a testimony to the transforming power of God's Word and the lasting impact of one person's obedience.

Mrs. Sheela Mangalraj was widely known for her compassion and servant-hearted spirit. She devoted her life to helping the poor, caring for the needy, comforting the brokenhearted, and extending Christ's love to everyone she met. Her ministry reflected the words of our Lord Jesus Christ—to love God and to love our neighbors.

In the year 2000, recognizing God's continued work and direction, Mrs. Sheela Mangalraj entrusted the responsibility of leading the church to me and our ministry team. Having received both God's calling and her blessing, we prayerfully accepted this sacred responsibility and committed ourselves to shepherding God's people with faithfulness, humility, and love.

Since then, we have continued to build upon the strong spiritual foundation she established. Our mission remains unchanged: to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, strengthen families, equip believers through the Word of God, and serve our community with compassion.

Today, we thank God for His faithfulness throughout every season of our journey. As we look to the future, we remain committed to fulfilling the vision that began through Mrs. Sheela Mangalraj—bringing hope, sharing the love of Christ, and seeing lives transformed for the glory of God and finished her race succesfully went to the lord.

Indu Akka – A Faithful Servant of Christ

Indu Akka, the beloved daughter of Mrs. Sheela Mangal Raj, is a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus Christ who faithfully carries forward the vision and mission of this ministry. With a compassionate heart and unwavering commitment, she serves God by extending His love and care to the underprivileged through various outreach and community development initiatives.

Driven by the desire to transform lives, she has been a consistent pillar of support for many families in need. Her generous contributions have enabled countless children to continue their education by providing school and college fee assistance. She also empowers struggling families by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities that restore dignity and self-reliance.

Her ministry of compassion includes:

* Sponsoring school and college education for children from underprivileged families.

* Providing sewing machines to help women earn a sustainable income.

* Supporting families through livestock initiatives, including poultry farming and goat distribution.

* Distributing clothing and essential supplies to those in need.

Providing Financial and material support to establish and Strengthen small scale businesses

* Extending various forms of humanitarian assistance that bring hope, encouragement, and practical support to vulnerable communities.

Through her faithful service, sacrificial giving, and Christ-centered compassion, Indu Akka continues to impact countless lives. Her dedication reflects the love of Christ in action, inspiring many to serve God by caring for the poor, uplifting the needy, and sharing His hope with the community. Her life stands as a testimony to faithful stewardship and wholehearted service in the Kingdom of God.
